This has been one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I ordered the Detroit Deluxe pizza and was blown away. It's a little messy, but that's just me. The crust was crisp and crunchy, which was a wonderful contrast against the melty cheese and sauce. I wish I had asked for my server's name — she was fantastic. She gave us enough time to order, and enjoy our meal, before swinging back around for our dessert and check. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. There are historical touches, such as the reclaimed wood panels that make up part of the walls. I will absolutely come back. It was the best birthday present .
absolutely delicious! i had the mushroom quinoa burger with sweet potato fries. as someone who rarely eats meat but want a meaty texture, the mushroom quinoa burger patty was perfect. it was honestly the best burger ive had. the sweet potato fries comes with honey and sauce dip. my partner had the bbq burger and it was also good, very filling!
Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Five of us went on a Tuesday night. They sat us outside, as requested. Turned on the heaters for us, as requested. The waiter came by frequently to check on us. He was patient, informed, helpful, friendly, polite, and professional. We ordered the chorizo nachos as an appetizer. Super yummy. Big enough for the 5 of us to share. I ordered the wings for r dinner as that was the special of the night and they were 1/2 of ($7). My brother and sister split the “Night Moves” pizza. My other sister got the kale and beets salad. My other sister got the fish and chips. I loved the wings. But I could only eat 4 after gorging myself on nachos. I took home the other 6 wings. My brother and sister had 2 slices of pizza leftover. My sister loved the salad and finished all of it. My other sister loved the fish and chips and we all tried them. The sauce is kind of sweet, but also has a lemony taste. She had leftovers and took it home. We really enjoyed ourselves. The heaters kept us very comfortable so we could all take off our coats outside after a while. The bill was very reasonable. I would definitely return.
This is a really cool place in Lawrence, Kansas. We stopped in here for a late lunch and grabbed one of their Detroit style pizzas. We had their house made meatball pizza and it was phenomenal. The bartender was our server and she did a great job as well.
First time here and we came before the KU football game. The food was all very good. The Detroit style pizza is something you absolutely have to try. Crispy edges and so cheesy and good with just the right amount of sauce. The chicken sandwich was crispy and fresh on a toasted brioche bun. The beer was cold and service was excellent. Very good spot.
A very nice place. Very accommodating and kind employees. They all work hard for sure. You can see a lot of team work here. It is amazing. Great food as well. I had it to go. Ordered Chicken sandwich and fried mushrooms. Yum! Even my cats wanted a bite of the chicken. Lol. Much Love to all there.
Delicious pizza and sides! Waits can be a bit long occasionally but the pizza is soo worth it!!!!
They never miss — no matter what you order, it’s always great. That’s why this is hands down my favorite restaurant in Lawrence. Quality food, a great environment, and affordable prices. You really can’t go wrong.
May have just had the best burger in town—perfection! All around great food, the sweet tater fries were fire and the kids Mac n cheese could have fed three. Parent and kid approved! Gotta try the blackberry lemonade and black dahlia. Kudos to Alexis our wonderful server and the entire team.
We loved this place! Start to finish— all great! Margaritas were excellent, loved their wings— crispy, not breaded, tasty sauces (we had buffalo and bbq). Our group had four different pizzas and they were all so good! My favorite was the bbq chicken with the yummy pineapple relish and Fritos on top. Be sure to check out the daily specials. Overall a wonderful dinner experience. Shout out to Katie for the great service!
